Mike Plante
PRESIDENT OF THE JURY SUNDANCE INSTITUTE Mike Plante is the President of the SundanceTV Shorts Jury and the Senior Programmer for Short Films at the Sundance Film Festival, where he has worked since 2001. He has programmed movies for festivals since 1993 and has commissioned shorts for the series Lunchfilm (2005-present) and Orbitfilm (2011). He also produces documentaries, most recently the feature Giuseppe Makes A Movie (2014).
Valérie Nimal
Valérie Nimal is a Belgian journalist and novelist with a special interest in film and culture. She has been working for Proximus TV and the website Skynet.be for 17 years. In her columns and articles on www.proximustv.be, she tries to catch the zeitgeist and on her video interviews, she explores the worlds of the artists. She also writes fiction.
